Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using onyt.ai (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Onyt (“Onyt,” “we,” “us”).

2. What Onyt is

Onyt publishes independent U.S. editorial indexes of AI personal assistants and family life apps. Rankings, scores, comparisons, guides, and machine-readable feeds are editorial opinions for a stated edition (month/version). They are not lab benchmarks, certifications, or guarantees of product performance, safety, or fitness for any household.

The Site is for a United States audience and market context unless a page says otherwise.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Site is medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, or professional parenting advice. Product choices for families involve your own judgment and, where needed, qualified professionals.

4. Opinions, not warranties

Scores and rankings:

• Reflect editorial judgment under a published methodology that can change by edition.
• May be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
• Are not warranties, endorsements, or promises that a product will work for you.
• Do not replace reading a vendor’s own terms, privacy policy, and documentation.

You use the Site and any product you choose at your own risk.

5. Partners and commercial relationships

Some products (including Zazu) are commercial partners. Partners are labeled. Partner status does not change the published scoring rubric: every listed product is scored under the same edition rules. Partner disclosure: /about#disclosure and our Disclaimer.

Outbound links (including to getzazu.io) may lead to third-party sites we do not control.

6. License to use the Site

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal or internal informational purposes, including citing our indexes with attribution as described in our cite guide and llms.txt.

You may not:

• Scrape the Site in a way that impairs service, or bypass rate limits or access controls.
• Misrepresent Onyt scores as lab results, certifications, or paid endorsements.
• Remove partner labels or edition dates when republishing rankings.
• Use the Site to build a competing index by wholesale copying of our editorial text (facts and CC-licensed feed fields follow the license stated in llms.txt; our narrative articles and site UI remain our IP unless marked otherwise).
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

7. Intellectual property

Site design, trademarks (including “Onyt”), and original editorial content are owned by Onyt or its licensors. Machine feeds state their license (currently described in llms.txt, including CC BY 4.0 for designated feed content). Trademarks of third-party products belong to their owners.

8. DMCA / copyright notices

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to editorial@onyt.ai with: your contact details; description of the work; URL of the allegedly infringing material; a good-faith statement; and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. We may remove or disable material as appropriate.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONYT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON RANKINGS OR CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Onyt from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your republication of our content without required attribution or partner/edition disclosure, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after posting means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date will change.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue lies in the federal courts sitting in the United States, or as updated when a formation state is set, except where prohibited by law.
