Privacy Policy

Site: onyt.ai · Operator: Onyt

Who we are

Onyt (“Onyt,” “we,” “us”) operates onyt.ai, an independent U.S. editorial index of AI personal assistants and family life apps.

Privacy questions: editorial@onyt.ai

What this policy covers

How we handle information when you visit onyt.ai or use our public machine-readable feeds (llms.txt, JSON indexes). This is not the privacy policy of products we rank (including partner products such as Zazu).

Information we collect

Server and security logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically receive request data (for example IP address, user-agent, date/time, requested URL, and referrer) to operate, secure, and debug the Site.

Cookies and first-party marketing

We do not set first-party marketing cookies on onyt.ai today. We do not run Google Analytics or similar advertising pixels on the Site today.

Analytics code (dormant)

The Site codebase may include optional first-party CTA/event analytics. That path is off in production unless an analytics endpoint is configured. If we turn analytics (or other tags) on later, we will update this Policy and our Cookies page.

Information you send us

If you email editorial@onyt.ai, we receive whatever you include in that message.

Accounts

The Site does not currently offer user accounts or logins. If that changes, we will update this Policy.

Third-party resources

Pages may load Google Fonts (or similar font CDNs) so typography can render. Those providers may receive your IP address and standard request data under their own policies when your browser requests the font files.

We are removing the third-party Grok extensions.js injection previously present on pages (which could set cookies on grok.com). After that removal, that script should no longer run on Onyt.

Outbound links (including partner CTAs to getzazu.io) are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Cookies and similar technologies

See our Cookies page. Short version: we do not show a cookie consent banner while we do not set non-essential first-party cookies and do not run advertising pixels. If that changes, we will update Cookies + Privacy and add a banner if required.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Respond to messages you send
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who host or operate the Site (under obligations to protect it)
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • A successor entity if we reorganize or transfer assets (with notice if required)

Retention

Logs and email are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.

Children

The Site discusses family-oriented products for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact editorial@onyt.ai.

Your privacy rights (U.S.)

Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise rights, contact editorial@onyt.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available by law.

If we do not collect personal information beyond standard logs, some requests may have limited applicable data.

International visitors

We target a U.S. audience. If you visit from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the United States.

Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version here. The “Last updated” date will change. If we enable analytics, marketing cookies, or new third-party tags, we will update this Policy (and Cookies) to match.
