The kitchen wall is an operating system

Skylight, Hearth, FamGlow, Echo Show. Children will not open your app. The counter is the rail.

Skylight won the default. Hardware plus a $79 year plus Magic Import if you pay. Hearth is the 27-inch command center for people who already believe in a command center. FamGlow is the BYO-tablet version. Echo Show is what you already own and should stop calling a family OS.

The wall does not RSVP. It displays. That is still a system layer. Concierges that never appear on the counter will lose to a color-coded week the kids can see. Indexes that pretend hardware is cheating are ranking phones, not households.

Import is the product

The fight is not pixels. It is whether a school flyer becomes an event without a parent typing. Skylight sells that as Magic Import. Calendara and Nori sell it as a photo. Sense sells it as email intake. The wall is just the last mile of capture.

Subscription after the screw holes

Hardware vendors have you when the holes are in the drywall. The software sub is the real margin. File the total cost, not the Amazon price, or you will under-rank a $30 app against a $400 screen.
